My journey in the world of communications began in 2016, when a last-minute decision led me to pursue a journalism degree at Falmouth University. It wasn’t until I completed a communication-based internship in the superyacht industry that I discovered my true passion lay in marketing and social media, alongside writing. This realisation prompted me to switch courses to a journalism and communications degree.
After graduating, I was eager to step into the professional world, but the onset of a global pandemic forced me to reconsider my plans. During this uncertain time, I was fortunate to secure a graduate role as a content writer in the financial services sector.
Nearly two years in the FX industry gave me valuable experience, but it was my background in writing for a fan-made motorsport website that ultimately guided me towards a career in the automotive industry.
Growing up with two petrolhead biker parents and a godfather who has spent over 20 years working for Renault, it’s no surprise that I was raised on Formula One and MotoGP. This passion has remained with me throughout the years—though I still haven’t gotten my driving license…yet!
Since joining Torque over two years ago, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to evolve as a content creator and communications executive. My role allows me to collaborate with a diverse range of clients, all while being part of an exceptionally welcoming and supportive team.
