International social media campaign for MILWAUKEE® UK & EMEA

Torque supported MILWAUKEE® UK & EMEA on an international campaign – MILWAUKEE® Garage Tour – with content creation, social media strategy and digital marketing management.

MILWAUKEE® UK & EMEA is looking to grow its brand presence and market share in the automotive sector across the EMEA region. To make an impact, and in celebration of the brand’s 100-year anniversary, MILWAUKEE® UK & EMEA devised an end-user takeover campaign that targets garage owners and technicians in the motor trade.

Torque used targeted social media activity with a carefully curated audience profile to build anticipation of the event and encourage the audience to visit the registration page. 

Torque produced a content calendar for both organic and paid-for activity on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, providing copywriting, calls to action and compelling assets designed for each platform and ad format.

The team also managed the execution of the paid ads across Facebook and LinkedIn – this consisted of three ads per market:

  1. Designed to raise awareness, create a buzz and generate sign ups.
  2. Designed for a remarketing campaign for those who have recently visited the MILWAUKEE® website.
  3. Designed for the final week leading up to the event to encourage last minute registrations.

The results: we generated nearly 13.5 million impressions and over 123.5k clicks through to campaign registration pages from social media.
